WHAT IS VASTU SHASTRA?

Vastu Shastra is the first “green” science. Vastu helps us recognize the powerful influence our work and living surroundings have upon us. When we properly align our environment with Vastu, balance occurs. Once this balance is created, stress is reduced and the frustrations and limitations in life diminish.

Vastu comes from the same wisdom texts as yoga, meditation and the first medicine, Ayurveda. These texts are thousands of years old and predate any other known written information pertaining to all things that exist within our world and the universe, from astronomy to zoology. This wisdom is timeless and pertinent in our fast-living world today. Understanding and using it can help us lead healthier, happier lives.

As an Affiliate of the American Institute of Vastu, you become a part of a highly rewarding and respected profession. Both you and your clients will benefit from your knowledge and expertise.

To further your education, the Level IV training is an advanced course (not required for Affiliate status) offered to those interested in utilizing the principles of Vastu in construction, community, interior and exterior design. HOW ARE COURSES TAUGHT?

These courses begin with Level I: Vastu Basics Course - Introduction to Vastu Principles and Practices. Join us via web-based learning online now. To learn more about this course and our other levels of Vastu curriculum, click here.

The course curriculum for Levels I, II and IV is brought to you in the comfort of your own home in a self-paced learning experience through archived lessons on our secure site. You will have access to AIV’s course material through televised lectures and PDF’s. We will support you via a secure message board with answers to your questions. You can be anywhere in the world, on any computer, and receive your AIV courses simply by logging onto our site with your name and password.

*Level III: Weekend Intensive for Vastu Affiliate Certification will be offered bi-yearly in Seattle. The next Level III training is April 25, 26 & 27, 2008.
